The energy density of CATL’s first-generation sodium-ion battery reaches 160 Wh/kg. Building on this achievement, CATL has partnered with automotive manufacturers and energy storage suppliers to advance the commercial application of sodium-ion batteries. The company aims to establish an initial industry chain for these batteries by the end of 2023.
