First Batch of 40 Electric Heavy-duty Trucks Were Delivered to Customers

On August 8, SINOTRUK, a leading manufacturer of trucks in China, announced that the first batch of 40 pure electric tractors were delivered to customer, Weifangsteel, in Shandong.

In the field of new energy technology, SINOTRUK has mastered core technologies related to the development and testing of electronic control system and launched three technical roadmap including pure electric, hybrid, hydrogen fuel cell. Relying on self-developed software and hardware, SINOTRUK has now built five world-class major assemblies including electric drive axle, central drive, hybrid, fuel cell and AMT.

The delivery of these EVs will make a significant contribution to the industry development of high-end equipment and the construction of green transport system. In the future, SINOTRUK will continue to introduce more heavy truck products with high efficiency, high reliability and energy-saving features to help China achieve its dual-carbon goals.
