XCMG Electric Mining Trucks Exported to South America
June 01,2022
Global mining equipment is getting bigger, smarter, greener and more unmanned as it evolves. In response to this trend and the national "3060" dual-carbon strategy, XCMG also invests heavily in new energy and has made some significant advances.
These trucks are reportedly to be the world's first all-electric tipper applying rigid tipper technology. Equipped with a lithium iron acid battery with a power capacity of 525/700kWh, these vehicles have a long driving range and high level of safety and reliability, so there is no need to worry about their range and safety even in the mining areas in South America.
“With exports to over 187 countries and regions, XCMG products are becoming increasingly popular around the world. XCMG is at the forefront of the energy transition. At the beginning of this year, XCMG took the lead in releasing the "XCMG Carbon Peak/Carbon Neutral Action Planning Outline", demonstrating XCMG's confidence and determination to move towards clean and intelligent equipment.” Liu Jiansen, Vice President of XCMG Machinery said in the delivery speech.
XDR80TE, a typical electric mining truck produced by XCMG, boasts a “Large capacity" "Large Load" and "Low energy consumption". If conventional truck is to be replaced by XCMG electric mining truck, the cost of operation would be cut by approximately 200,000-300,000 Yuan over five years, thus creating higher value for customers.
By the end of 2021, XCMG had launched a total of 108 new energy products, including truck cranes, loaders, aerial work platforms, sanitation vehicles, frontal cranes, road rollers and pavers, with pure electric, hybrid electric and hydrogen fuel available.
