On October 26, Dongfeng Commercial Vehicle Co., Ltd. (hereafter referred to Dongfeng) held a grand ceremony in Shiyan to mark the construction of a new factory for Dongfeng Special Vehicle Co., Ltd. (hereafter referred to as Dongfeng Special Vehicle).

According to Dongfeng Special Vehicle, its new factory will finish the construction in February, 2021 and then enter SOP in September, 2021. After being put into operation, the new factory is expected to sell 30,000 units special vehicles with an annual sales revenue of 800 million RMB.

Covering an area of 125,000 square meters, the factory boasts over 23 production lines with a host of advanced technologies.

From January to September, Dongfeng’s production and sales volume went up by 46.5% and 54.5% year on year respectively.
